Terms & Conditions of Hire

Midlands Inflatables have created these terms & conditions of hire to ensure the safety of our equipment and the safety of your children throughout the hire of our equipment at your event. Please read and follow the safety and rental instructions listed, use your own common sense and most importantly have a great time.

By agreeing to book with us and receiving a confirmation email you the hirer / organisation take full responsibility to adhere to these terms and conditions of hire and are liable for any charges for cleaning or damages that may incur during your hire if the terms and conditions are not followed.

  1. It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the bouncy castle / equipment to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to users or damage to the the bouncy castle / equipment.
  2. A responsible adult must closely supervise the bouncy castle / equipment at all times.
  3. Please be aware any damage to any of our equipment during your hire will be your responsibility to pay to fix or replace. This can include you being charged the price of a new product or piece of equipment being made or bought if the damage is deemed unfixable.
  4. No adults are allowed on the bouncy castle unless you have hired an adult bouncy castle, otherwise, the bouncy castles have an age limit of --- years. It is strictly prohibited for both children and adults to be on the bouncy castle at the same time. If the children are on the bouncy castle, then no adults are allowed on the bouncy castle and vice versa.
  5. Always ensure that the bouncy castle it not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of the children using it. It is advised that children of mixed ages should not use the bouncy castle at the same time.
  6. Do not allow children or adults to become boisterous, push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
  7. No person should be sitting on the walls of the bouncy castle, atop the slide or on the roof of the bouncy castle at any given time. No climbing, hanging is allowed as this is deemed as dangerous.
  8. To avoid choking and mess, no food, drinks or chewing gum is to be allowed on or near the bouncy castle / equipment.
  9. No arts and crafts including all crafts and art supplies such as crayons, pens, pencils, stickers, glitter, glue, make-up or face paint is allowed on or near the bouncy castle / equipment. Any damage caused by this will be solely your responsibility and you will be charged for damages according to the amount of damage caused which could result in you being charged for an entire new bouncy castle / equipment.
  10. All footwear, glasses, jewellery or any other hard, sharp or dangerous objects which could cause damage to other children or the equipment, must be removed before using the bouncy castle / equipment.
  11. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, glitter, confetti or silly string is to be used on or near the bouncy castle / equipment.
  12. No smoking, fireworks including sparklers or barbecues on or near the bouncy castle / equipment.
  13. No pets allowed on or near the bouncy castle / equipment.
  14. If pets are owned a tarpaulin must be placed down by you the hirer on the area the bouncy castle / equipment is to be set up otherwise we will not be able to set the bouncy castle / equipment up.
  15. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the step and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on and off.
  16. Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the bouncy castle as indeed any child who is feeling unwell or taking medication.
  17. If the bouncy castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains unless it is raining and the bouncy castle must be kept switched on at all times.
  18. Do not allow anyone to be on the bouncy castle during inflation or deflation or whilst being deflated.
  19. Please warn children of the tie down points (if appropriate) and make the area behind the unit, where the electrical blower is sited, out of bounds for children.
  20. The bouncy castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the bouncy castle should not be used.
  21. In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the bouncy castle not be used and left switched on. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
  22. Should the equipment fail for any reason, please ensure all users get off the bouncy castle immediately.
  23. No unauthorised person should move the bouncy castle / equipment or tamper with the electrical equipment under any circumstances.
  24. It is the hirers responsibility to move any objects / furniture that may cause harm to people using the units.
  25. It is the hirers responsibility to clean away any dog mess prior to our arrival and place a tarpaulin down on the area the bouncy castle / equipment will be set up.
  26. The inflatable / equipment must be returned in an acceptable condition, i.e. clean, unsoiled and undamaged. If it is badly soiled or damaged, the hirer will expected to pay an additional charge to cover the cleaning costs and our loss of earnings in if the inflatables is rendered out of commission for any reason.
  27. No balloons are to be taken onto the bouncy castle at any time.
  28. No dog mess is to be present on the ground on delivery or collection. If there is then we have the right to refuse to place the castle and if its there on collection and damages any equipment then there will be a charge.
  29. No sand or water on the bouncy castle / equipment.
  30. The bouncy castle / equipment need to be let set up on collection so it can be inspected before collection.
